How do I get started with Shippley?

Getting started is easy: 1) Sign up for a free trial at shippley.pk, 2) Connect your Shopify store, 3) Set up your Twilio account (we'll guide you), 4) Configure your fraud prevention rules, 5) Start protecting orders automatically. The entire setup takes about 15 minutes.

Do I need technical knowledge to use Shippley?

No! Shippley is designed for merchants, not developers. Our setup wizard guides you through every step. However, you will need to create a Twilio account and connect it (we provide detailed guides). If you need help, our support team is available 24/7.

How long does the free trial last?

We offer a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card required to start. You can cancel anytime during the trial period with no charges.

How do I connect my Shopify store?

Click "Connect Store" in your dashboard, enter your Shopify store URL, and authorize Shippley to access your orders. We only request permissions needed for fraud prevention. Your store data remains secure and private.

What is Twilio and why do I need it?

Twilio is a communication platform that enables phone verification calls. With our BYOT (Bring Your Own Twilio) model, you pay Twilio directly at cost (~Rs 70/call) instead of paying us marked-up rates (~Rs 200/call). This saves you Rs 30,000+ per month. We provide a complete setup guide.

How do I set up Twilio?

Follow our detailed Twilio setup guide in the Resources section. We provide step-by-step instructions with screenshots. You'll need to: 1) Create a Twilio account, 2) Buy a Pakistani phone number, 3) Get your API credentials, 4) Enter them in Shippley dashboard. Takes about 10 minutes.

Can I use multiple Shopify stores?

Yes! Our plans support multiple stores. Each store can have its own risk rules and settings. You can switch between stores from the dropdown in your dashboard.

How does Shippley detect fraud?

Shippley combines AI fraud detection with multi-channel verification. Our 15-factor AI risk scoring system analyzes every order for fraud patterns (fake Jazz numbers, plaza scams, suspicious addresses, order behavior, etc.). Based on risk level: High-risk orders are auto-blocked, low-risk orders are auto-approved, and medium-risk orders (only ~25%) get verified via AI voice calls, WhatsApp messages, or SMS in Urdu/English. Verified orders are automatically booked with courier partners (TCS, Leopards, Trax, PostEx, BlueEx).

What are risk rules and how do I configure them?

Risk rules define how orders are scored and handled. You can set thresholds for low, medium, and high risk. Configure actions like auto-approve, auto-reject, or require verification. Access Settings > Risk Rules to customize rules based on your business needs.

How does multi-channel verification work?

When an order is flagged as medium/high risk, Shippley uses smart cascading verification: First tries WhatsApp message → then SMS → then AI voice call → WhatsApp retry. Our AI assistant communicates in the customer's preferred language (Urdu/English), asks questions to verify the order, analyzes responses, detects suspicious behavior, and provides a verification result. You can review all communication transcripts and recordings in the dashboard.

Can I customize verification messages and calls?

Yes! Go to Settings > Calling Agent to customize your AI assistant's voice, language, questions, and behavior for voice calls. You can also customize WhatsApp message templates and SMS fallback messages. Configure the verification flow sequence (WhatsApp → SMS → Call) based on your preferences.

What happens to blocked orders?

Blocked orders are marked in your Shopify dashboard and won't be shipped. You can review blocked orders in Shippley, see the fraud indicators, and manually override the decision if needed. We recommend canceling these orders in Shopify to avoid fulfillment.

How accurate is the fraud detection?

Our AI achieves 85% fraud detection accuracy on average. The system continuously learns and improves. You can fine-tune accuracy by adjusting risk rules based on your specific fraud patterns.

What is BYOT pricing?

BYOT (Bring Your Own Twilio) means you connect your own Twilio account and pay Twilio directly for calls (~Rs 70 each). You only pay Shippley the platform fee (starts at Rs 50,000/month). This is much cheaper than traditional services that charge Rs 200+ per call with hidden markups.

How much does Shippley cost?

Our Growth plan starts at Rs 50,000/month for up to 500 orders. For higher volumes, check our Pricing page or contact sales. Remember: with BYOT, you save Rs 30,000+ monthly compared to other services because there's no call markup.

Are there any hidden fees?

No hidden fees, ever. You pay: 1) Shippley platform fee (monthly subscription), 2) Twilio call costs directly to Twilio. That's it. No setup fees, no per-order charges, no markups, no surprises.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription anytime from Settings > Billing. No cancellation fees. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and JazzCash/Easypaisa for Pakistani merchants. Contact support@shippley.pk for invoice-based billing for enterprise clients.

How do I reset my password?

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page, enter your email, and we'll send you a reset link. If you don't receive it, check your spam folder or contact support.

Can I add team members to my account?

Yes! Enterprise plans include team member access. Go to Settings > Team to invite colleagues with different permission levels (Admin, Editor, Viewer).

How do I disconnect my Shopify store?

Go to Settings > Stores, select your store, and click "Disconnect Store". This will stop fraud monitoring and remove webhook connections. You can reconnect anytime.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use bank-level encryption (AES-256), secure HTTPS connections, and comply with international data protection standards. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Do you have an API?

Yes! We provide a REST API for advanced integrations. Documentation is available at docs.shippley.pk. Contact support to request API access credentials.

What happens if Shippley goes down?

We have 99.9% uptime SLA. If our service is unavailable, orders will flow to your Shopify store normally without fraud checks. Once service resumes, we'll process pending orders. No orders are lost or blocked during downtime.

Can I integrate with other platforms besides Shopify?

Currently we support Shopify. WooCommerce and custom platform integrations are coming soon. Contact sales@shippley.pk to express interest or request early access.
